The Contour Hybrid Splitboard Mix Skin is a 70% mohair 30% nylon climbing skin. These Contour skins feature a proprietary Hybrid glue technology which is a twin layer adhesion technology. Fancy, I know. This means there is one form of glue that glues the skin glue to the skin. The second glue sticks to your skis. This separation of glue recipes creates a skin that is less sticky to your ski, but has consistent adhesion through a day of touring. A win-win if you will. The Contour Hybrids are also the only skins that can be washed to refresh the adhesive. If you hate managing backcountry glue messes, go with the Contour Hybrids.
