With these gears you can upgrade your DT Swiss hub with a ratchet free wheel system. With 54 teeth, they have three times as many locking points as the originally installed teeth and thus offer a noticeably less space until adhesion is achieved. The direct transmission of power offers significant advantages, especially in hard starts or in technically difficult terrain. By using a hollow milling of the toothed discs, the weight could also be reduced by 10 grams per pair compared to standard gears. The DT Swiss Ratchet system allows the free wheel body to be dismantled without tools. This means that the toothed discs can be easily replaced in a few minutes.
