Customize the (spider or biscuit-bridge) resonator guitar sound with a Koa saddle for rich tone and the special warmth that only comes from natural Koa. Replogle Reso saddles in Koa bring the time-honored tone of this mystical hardwood from the Hawaiian Islands while providing the strength and volume of the normal maple saddle, but with added warmth and tone that only true Koa can deliver. Reso guitars are infamous for intonation problems. Another Replogle innovation is to carve the saddle under the first two plain strings, and then smoothly angling the other four wound strings to greatly improve the intonation. The saddle requires final trimming and slotting.
